Skills / Experience
- Overall IT Experience between 8-10 years, with HCL WCS experience of 5+ years
- Good Understanding of the WCS and Ecommerce platform
- WCS subsystems ( focused around Order, member, catalog etc)
- API driven development - understanding of REST frameworks
- REST handlers
- WCS /SEARCH Customization on the recent handlers would help.
- Strong working knowledge and experience with JavaScript including AJAX/JSON and JavaScript application frameworks such as jQuery
- Experience with code quality tools like PMD, Checkstyle, SONAR
- Analyze and diagnose any issues that could adversely impact any functional capabilities of WebSphere Commerce applications




- Ensure that our implementations meet the required scalability and reliability required for e-commerce operation
- Experience in handling Integration with external systems using APIs
- Customization of BOD framework.
- Good understanding on Source control and DevOps tools like GIT, Jenkins etc
- Hands-on Experience in performing Unit testing
- Good understanding of the Data load / WCBD procedures
- Amazon Web Services(AWS) working experience will be added advantage
- Knowledge on Nodejs / any java script testing framework
- Understanding of OMS integration would be good-to-have
