Role & responsibilities
- Design and development of sheet metal components using Siemens UG NX.
- Create 3D models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings.
- Develop components considering DFM/DFA, manufacturing feasibility, and functional requirements.
- Perform design modifications, engineering changes, and resolve design-related issues.
- Work closely with manufacturing, suppliers, quality, and cross-functional teams.
- Ensure designs meet quality, cost, weight, and project timeline requirements.
- Support design reviews, drawing release, and documentation.
