Intern: Channel Partner Development (Makhana Value Chain)

About the Role

We are looking for energetic, entrepreneurial, and result-oriented interns to support the expansion of our Makhana (Fox Nut) value chain across India. The intern will play a key role in identifying, onboarding, and nurturing channel partners such as distributors, wholesalers, retailers, Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), agri-input dealers, and institutional buyers to strengthen our market presence.

This role offers hands-on exposure to business development, agri-value chains, channel management, market research, and rural entrepreneurship.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify potential channel partners, distributors, wholesalers, and retail networks in assigned cities.
- Conduct market mapping and competitor analysis for the makhana market.
- Generate qualified leads and schedule meetings with prospective partners.
- Present the company's products, business model, and partnership opportunities.
- Support the onboarding process,



including documentation and partner registration.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with channel partners to ensure long-term engagement.
- Coordinate with internal sales, operations, and supply chain teams for seamless partner support.
- Collect market intelligence, customer feedback, pricing trends, and competitor activities.
- Maintain accurate records of partner interactions, leads, and sales activities using CRM or reporting tools.
- Assist in organizing partner meets, promotional campaigns, exhibitions, and product demonstrations.
- Travel within the assigned region to meet business prospects and partners.

Eligibility
- Final-year undergraduate or postgraduate students, or recent graduates in any discipline
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Interest in agribusiness, food processing, and rural markets.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
- Proficiency in MS Exc
