About the Role
We are looking for an energetic and target-oriented FMCG Sales Executive with hands-on experience in field sales, retail distribution and market development.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the FMCG market, established relationships with retailers/distributors, excellent communication skills and the ability to consistently achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Target Achievement
- Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Develop and execute effective sales plans for the assigned territory.
- Generate new business opportunities and increase sales from existing customers.
- Monitor daily sales performance and take corrective action when required.
- Ensure proper product availability and visibility in the market.
2. Market & Retailer Development
- Visit retail outlets, supermarkets, wholesalers and other potential customers regularly.
- Identify and onboard new retailers, dealers and distributors.
- Expand the company's distribution and retail network.
- Develop new markets and identify potential business opportunities.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing retailers and channel partners.
3. Distributor & Dealer Management
- Coordinate with distributors and dealers for regular order placement.
- Monitor distributor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Track secondary sales and market movement.
- Ensure proper distribution of products across the assigned territory.
- Resolve distributor and retailer-related issues promptly.
4. Field Sales Activities
- Conduct regular market visits according to the assigned route plan.
- Take orders from retailers and channel partners.
- Follow up on pending orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Ensure proper product display, visibility and merchandising.
- Monitor competitor activities
