Role & responsibilities

. Experience: 5+ years of dedicated experience in data engineering or ETL development.
. SSIS Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in designing and building complex, high-volume ETL packages using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
. ETL Fundamentals: Deep understanding of ETL theory, data warehousing concepts (e.g., dimensional modeling), and data pipeline architecture.
. Advanced SQL: Expertise in writing and tuning complex T-SQL on MS SQL Server.
. Versatility: Proven ability to work with a variety of data sources, including databases, flat files, APIs, and semi-structured data (XML, JSON).

Positive to Have Skills

. Cloud Data Platforms: Experience with cloud-based ETL/ELT services like Azure Data Factory (ADF), AWS Glue,



or Google Cloud Dataflow.
. Microsoft BI Stack: Familiarity with other components of the MS BI stack (SSRS, SSAS).
. Version Control: Proficiency with Git for managing code and collaborating with a team.
. CI/CD Practices: Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for data solutions (e.g., Azure DevOps).
. Data Quality: Experience with data quality and data governance principles.
. Agile Environment: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development team.
