We are seeking an experienced and dynamic
Pre-Sales Professional
to join ALTEN India. In this role, you will lead and manage the end-to-end bid and proposal process, driving commercial strategy and technical-commercial alignment for high-value opportunities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the
Engineering Services (ER&D;)
domain and a proven track record in handling complex RFIs, RFPs, and commercial proposals for key industries including
Automotive, Aerospace, and Industrial Products/Manufacturing
.

Key Responsibilities
- Proposal & Bid Management: End-to-end ownership and lifecycle management of RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and unsolicited proactive proposals.
- Commercial Strategy & Pricing: Design, develop, and review commercial proposals, pricing models, estimation sheets, and risk assessments to ensure competitive yet profitable bids.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with delivery leaders, domain heads, sales teams, and legal/finance teams to craft compelling, high-impact bid responses.
- Industry Solution Alignment:



Translate complex engineering service capabilities into tailored solutions aligned with client needs across Automotive, Aerospace, and Industrial sectors.
- Pre-Sales Collateral & Knowledge Management: Maintain and build repository assets including case studies, capability decks, standard proposal templates, and solution write-ups.
- Client Engagement & Presentations: Participate in solution defense sessions, client presentations, and deal negotiations alongside the sales team.

Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 6–12+ years of core experience in Pre-Sales, Bid Management, or Solutioning within an Engineering Services company (Mandatory).
- Industry Expertise: Solid background and domain knowledge in Automotive, Aerospace, and Industrial Equipment/Products.
- Process Mastery: Proven track record in managing complete lifecycle proposals—from initial RFI parsing and requirement mapping to final RFP submissio
