Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Storage Migration Engineer with expertise in planning and executing enterprise SAN, NAS, and Block Storage migration projects across multi-vendor storage platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with storage migration tools, migration planning, cloud migrations, and enterprise storage technologies.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and execute SAN, NAS, and Block Storage migration projects.
- Perform file and block migrations using industry-standard migration tools.
- Execute storage migrations across enterprise storage platforms with minimal business disruption.
- Prepare migration plans, runbooks, implementation documents, and rollback procedures.
- Perform storage provisioning, replication, and performance tuning.
- Troubleshoot migration-related issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Work closely with customers, project managers, and infrastructure teams throughout the migration lifecycle.
- Support storage upgrades, disaster recovery activities, and post-migration validation.

Required Skills




- Robust experience in SAN, NAS, and Block Storage migrations.
- Hands-on experience with migration tools such as Komprise, Datadobi, Parsec, Cirrus Data Migration (CMC/CMO), or equivalent.
- Experience with enterprise storage platforms including NetApp, Pure Storage, Hitachi, EMC PowerMax/VMAX, or HPE 3PAR.
- Experience with storage replication technologies.
- Good understanding of Brocade and Cisco SAN switches, zoning, masking, and LUN provisioning.
- Experience with VMware environments and Storage vMotion is preferred.
- Knowledge of Windows, Linux, UNIX (AIX/HP-UX) storage administration.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and customer communication skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud storage migrations (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Exposure to Agile project delivery.
- Relevant storage certifications (NetApp, Pure Storage, Hitachi, EMC, Brocade, or Cloud certifications).
