Position Summary

The Senior Engineer is responsible for planning, execution, supervision, and quality control of construction activities at site. The role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and as per approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Site Execution & Supervision
- Plan and execute construction activities as per approved drawings and schedule.
- Supervise day-to-day site operations including civil, structural, and finishing works.
- Ensure proper implementation of construction methods and work sequences.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and labour teams for smooth execution of work.

2. Quality Control
- Ensure all construction works meet company quality standards and client specifications.
- Monitor material quality and workmanship at site.
- Conduct regular inspections and rectification of defects.
- Maintain quality-related documentation and checklists.

3. Planning & Coordination
- Prepare work schedules and daily/weekly progress plans.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants,



and vendors for technical clarifications.
- Ensure timely availability of materials, tools, and manpower.

4. Billing & Measurement
- Take measurements for client and contractor billing.
- Prepare and verify RA bills, BOQs, and deviation statements.
- Maintain accurate records of executed quantities.

5. Safety & Compliance
- Implement all safety rules and regulations at site.
- Conduct safety toolbox talks and monitor PPE usage.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and company safety standards.

6. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily progress reports (DPR), weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Maintain site registers, drawings, material registers, and inspection reports.
- Report progress, challenges, and requirements to the Project Manager regularly.

7. Team Management
- Guide and supervise Junior Engineers, supervisors, and site staff.
