Role Summary

We are looking for an Application Database Administrator with strong hands-on experience in Couchbase, NoSQL, Couchbase Capella, scripting, and Ansible automation. The candidate will be responsible for database administration, cluster management, performance optimization, automation, backup/recovery, security, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and manage Couchbase Server clusters.





Configure and maintain Couchbase Capella environments.

Work with N1QL, indexing, query optimization and database performance tuning.

Manage XDCR, high availability, backup and recovery.

Develop automation scripts using Shell, Python or Perl.

Develop and manage Ansible Playbooks for infrastructure automation and configuration management.

Support migration from on-premise Couchbase to Couchbase Capella.

Manage database security, access controls, encryption and health monitoring.

Troubleshoot database and infrastructure issues and provide RCA.
