Role Description
This is a full time, on-site Software Engineer role based in Chennai. The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs that power Taxina’s mobility platform, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, and testable code, troubleshooting and debugging production issues,



and collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver features that support drivers and passengers. The role also involves participating in code reviews, improving system architecture, integrating third-party services, and contributing to continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience building production-grade applications.
- Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, working with APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and applying OOP concepts in real-world projects.
- Experience with modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js, or similar) and version control systems such as Git.
