Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
- Supervise the accounts team and ensure timely completion of accounting activities.
- Review and monitor GST, TDS and Income Tax calculations, payments and returns.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Review bank payments, receipts, reconciliations and cash/bank transactions.
- Monitor accounts payable, receivable and outstanding payments.
- Prepare and review MIS reports, financial statements and management reports.
- Coordinate with internal, statutory and tax auditors and ensure timely closure of audit requirements.
- Review accounting entries, ledgers, vouchers and supporting documents for accuracy.
- Ensure proper maintenance of books of accounts and financial records.
- Handle month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Identify discrepancies and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Provide financial insights and support management in accounting and financial decisions. Ensure proper documentation and internal financial controls.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax and statutory compliance.
Hands-on experience with Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime and MS Office.
Experience in handling audits and coordinating with statutory/internal auditors.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and team management skills.
Ability to independently manage accounting operations.
CA Inter / CA candidates will be given preference.
