Job Title: Production Manager – Jewellery Manufacturing (Brass & Silver)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager with specialised expertise in brass and silver jewellery manufacturing and electroplating processes. You will oversee floor operations, maintain seamless workflows from casting to electroplating and finishing, ensure high-quality control, and drive on-time delivery targets.
- Experience: 5–8+ years of production management experience specifically in silver and brass jewellery manufacturing.
- Operational Skills: Strong understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes, material yield calculations, inventory tracking, and shop-floor productivity metrics.
- Quality Assurance & Defect Reduction: Enforce strict QA/QC standards to eliminate common plating issues (e.g., peeling, tarnishing, discoloration, or uneven thickness) and reduce overall scrap/re-work rates.
- End-to-End Production Planning: Plan daily/weekly shop-floor production schedules across casting,



filing, soldering, polishing, plating, and stone setting departments.
- Technical Expertise: Deep practical knowledge of electroplating chemistry, surface treatment, electro-cleaning, lacquering, and anti-tarnish treatments for brass and silver.
- Material & Chemical Inventory Control: Monitor consumption of precious metals, plating chemicals, and raw materials, coordinating with procurement to prevent stockouts and minimize loss/wastage.
- Process & Workflow Optimization: Drive continuous improvement on the workshop floor to improve throughput, lower cycle times, and maintain safety and environmental compliance for chemical handling.
- Team Leadership: Manage shop-floor artisans, plating technicians, and supervisors; train personnel on quality standards, SOPs, and hazardous chemical safety protocols.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
