Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Platform Engineer to join our Cloud Platform Engineering (CPE) team. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, automation, and governance of enterprise-scale Snowflake data platforms within regulated financial environments.

The ideal candidate will have robust expertise in Snowflake, Microsoft Azure, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), CI/CD (Azure DevOps), Git-based development workflows, and ITSM processes (ServiceNow), with a focus on platform reliability, security, compliance, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

Snowflake Platform Engineering
- Design, build, and operate Snowflake environments (multi-account, multi-region, replication & failover).
- Implement secure RBAC models, access provisioning, and governance frameworks aligned with enterprise standards.
- Develop and maintain automated onboarding pipelines (accounts, databases, warehouses, roles).
- Optimize warehouse performance and cost (FinOps), including query tuning and utilization tracking.




- Implement data protection, encryption, masking policies, and regulatory compliance controls.

Cloud & Infrastructure (Azure)
- Architect and manage Snowflake integrations with Azure services (Azure Key Vault, Private Endpoints, Managed Identity).
- Configure secure network connectivity (Private Link, VNet integration, firewall policies).
- Troubleshoot TLS/SSL, connectivity, and authentication issues across Azure and Snowflake.

Automation & DevOps
- Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform for Snowflake and Azure resources.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (ADO) for:
- Integration configurations
- Grants and RBAC automation
- Enforce Git-based version control practices for platform artifacts (SQL, scripts, Terraform modules).
- Implement automated testing, validation, and rollback mechanisms for deployments.
