Role Overview

We are looking for an Email Marketing & Outreach Executive to plan, set up and manage cold-email campaigns inviting relevant professionals and organisations to nominate themselves for The Leadership Gazette awards.

The ideal candidate should understand email outreach, lead-list management, campaign tools and email deliverability. They must be able to write explicit, professional emails that generate interest without sounding overly promotional or spam-like.

Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant professionals,



business leaders and organisations for different award categories.
- Build, clean, segment and maintain accurate email databases.
- Find and verify professional email addresses using appropriate research and verification tools.
- Set up cold-email campaigns using platforms such as Smartlead, Instantly, Apollo or similar tools.
- Write and test email subject lines, outreach messages and follow-up sequences.
- Personalise campaigns according to the recipient’s industry, designation, geography and award category.
- Manage sending domains, mailboxes, email authentication and warm-up processes.
- Monitor sender reputation, deliverability, bounce rates and spam complaints.
- Track campaign performance, including delivery, open, reply, nomination and conversion rates.
- Respond to interested recipients or transfer qualified responses to the nominations or sales team.
