About the Role

The Pastry / Bakery Commis will assist the bakery and pastry production team with the preparation and production of a wide range of products.

The role is particularly suitable for freshers, 12th-pass candidates and students who have completed a diploma or certificate course in Bakery & Pastry and are looking to start their career in a professional kitchen.





Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily production of cakes, pastries, brownies, breads, cookies, desserts and other bakery products
- Support weighing, scaling, mixing, baking, assembling and finishing
- Follow standardized recipes and production procedures
- Prepare ingredients and mise en place for daily production
- Maintain consistency in product quality, taste, texture and portion size
- Assist senior chefs with bulk production
- Follow food safety, hygiene and kitchen safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment and production areas
- Store and handle ingredients correctly
- Follow FIFO and minimize ingredient wastage
- Complete assigned production within the required timelines
