Role & responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end HR operations and HR strategy aligned with retail business objectives.
- Manage manpower planning, workforce budgeting, and recruitment across stores, regions, and corporate functions.
- Drive talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, retention, and employee lifecycle management.
- Manage performance management, appraisals, career development, succession planning, and talent development.
- Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution effectively.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory requirements, company policies, and HR SOPs.
- Partner with business and operations leaders to improve workforce productivity, reduce attrition, and support business growth.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team while driving HR process improvement,



automation, and data-driven HR practices.

Preferred candidate profile
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in the retail industry.
- Strong experience in HR operations, talent acquisition, employee relations, and workforce management.
- Proven experience handling multi-location retail/store employees.
- Strong knowledge of labour laws, statutory compliance, and HR policies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Solid leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Experience in employee engagement, performance management, and retention strategies.
