The role is responsible for defining, designing, launching and scaling payment products across card payments, payment networks, issuer/acquirer processing, 3DS ACS, APIs and digital experiences. The role operates across Business, Product, Technology, UI/UX, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Banks, Networks and Partners.

Role & responsibilities

Business Partnership & Product Roadmap
- Work closely with Business teams to understand market requirements, customer needs, revenue opportunities and competitive positioning.
- Translate business objectives into product strategy, product vision and actionable product roadmaps.
- Create and maintain quarterly and annual product roadmaps in collaboration with Business and Technology.
- Prioritise features based on business value, customer impact, regulatory requirements, network mandates, revenue potential and technical dependencies.
- Conduct product workshops with Business, Technology, Operations, Risk and Compliance stakeholders.
- Present product strategy and roadmap to senior management.

Product Discovery, BRDs & Requirements




- Own the complete requirement-definition lifecycle.
- Prepare BRDs, PRDs, functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Define process flows, transaction flows, use cases, business rules, exception scenarios, error handling and operational requirements.
- Convert ambiguous business requirements into explicit, implementable product specifications.

UI/UX Product Design
- Design end-to-end customer and user journeys for payment products.
- Create wireframes and low/high-fidelity prototypes and work closely with UI/UX designers.
- Define screen-level requirements, interactions, validation, error, timeout, retry and exception experiences.
- Design experiences covering card onboarding, authentication, 3DS challenge, OTP/PIN, transaction confirmation, payment failure, refunds, disputes, card controls and support journeys.
