Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Maintenance role based in Bengaluru. The Mechanical Maintenance professional will be responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment, machinery, and systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Daily activities include conducting inspections, identifying mechanical issues, coordinating repairs, and maintaining detailed maintenance logs and documentation. The role involves collaborating with engineering teams and operations staff to implement maintenance schedules, support equipment upgrades, and ensure compliance with safety standards and organizational procedures. The professional may also assist in reading technical drawings, supporting installation work, and recommending improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Maintenance and Mechanical Engineering for diagnosing, repairing,
and optimizing mechanical systems.
- Candidates should possess skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) to interpret and work with technical drawings and equipment layouts.
- Candidates should possess skills in Inspection to assess equipment condition, identify faults, and verify repair quality.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Automotive systems where relevant to mechanical maintenance operations.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or facility maintenance environments is beneficial.
- Ability to follow safety protocols, use standard tools and diagnostic equipment, and maintain accurate records.
- Robust problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively on-site in Bengaluru.
