Role Description
The Pastry Chef role at Rotticious is a full time, on-site position based in the Greater Chennai Area. The Pastry Chef is responsible for preparing, baking, and decorating a variety of pastries, cakes, breads, donuts, cookies, and other baked goods to meet daily production and custom order requirements.



Day-to-day tasks include planning and executing pastry menus, measuring and mixing ingredients, maintaining consistent product quality, and ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards. The role involves collaborating with the kitchen team on dessert offerings for the broader menu, managing inventory of baking supplies, and contributing to new product development and seasonal specials. The Pastry Chef also supports efficient service during peak hours and helps maintain a clean, organized bakery workspace.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Bakery and Baking skills for producing a wide range of breads, pastries, and desserts.
- Candidates should possess solid Culinary Skills and Cooking abilities to collaborate on menu items and plated desserts.
- Candidates should possess experience in Food Preparation, including ingredient measurement, mixing, and adherence to recipes.
