Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer with strong experience in Playwright to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for modern web applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality, has a strong understanding of testing best practices, and works closely with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright
- Build and enhance automation frameworks for UI and API testing
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to define test strategies
- Execute automated and manual tests as needed and analyze results
- Identify, log, and track defects using test management/bug tracking tools
- Ensure test coverage across functional, regression, and smoke test suites




- Maintain test data and test environments
- Continuously improve automation standards and best practices

Required Skills Qualifications
- Strong experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript)
- Valuable understanding of test automation frameworks and design patterns
- Experience testing web applications (cross-browser testing)
- Knowledge of API testing and basic REST concepts
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good to Have
- Experience with other automation tools (Selenium, Cypress)
- Knowledge of performance or security testing
- Experience with Docker or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Exposure to BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow)
- ISTQB or other testing certifications
