Role & responsibilities
- Create accurate 3D models, complex energetic assemblies, and production-ready 2D manufacturing drawings in SolidWorks.
- Apply complete GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and maintain structured Bills of Materials (BOM) in ERP systems.
- Perform basic FEA (Finite Element Analysis) using SolidWorks Simulation to evaluate dynamic vibration, stress distribution, and structural integrity.
- Design heavy-duty sheet metal enclosures, structural frames, hoppers, and weldments using SolidWorks Sheet Metal.
- Generate flat patterns and export DXF/DWG files optimized for CNC laser cutting, punching, and press brake bending.
- Select appropriate material grades.

Preferred candidate profile
- CAD Mastery: 3+ years of continuous hands-on experience using SolidWorks (3D modeling, sheet metal module, dynamic assembly management).
- Fabrication Knowledge:



Strong background in sheet metal design, bend allowances, welding symbols, structural steel profiles, and shop-floor fabrication processes.
- Vibrating & SPM Equipment: Proven track record in designing vibrating equipment (screens, feeders, tables) and material handling conveyor systems.

Preferred Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on experience with vibration motors, unbalanced drives, exciter drives, and rubber/coil isolation springs.
- Understanding bulk material characteristics (abrasiveness, bulk density, moisture impact on material flow).
- Familiarity with Indian material standards (IS) and local vendor networks for mechanical power transmission components (bearings, gearboxes, motors).
