The Retail Counter Follow-Up Executive will be responsible for maintaining regular communication with retail counters, ensuring that company products have been successfully delivered, checking stock availability, identifying replenishment requirements, and taking repeat orders from retailers whenever required.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly follow up with assigned retail counters to confirm whether the ordered stock has been received.
- Verify product availability and stock position at each retail counter.
- Maintain regular communication with retailers regarding product requirements, availability, and replenishment.
- Identify counters where stock is low or has been sold out and coordinate for repeat orders.
- Take fresh/repeat orders from retail counters as per their requirements.
- Follow up on pending orders, deliveries, shortages, damages,
or other delivery-related issues.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Dispatch, and Distribution teams to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Maintain a daily record of retailer follow-ups, stock status, orders received, and pending requirements.
- Ensure that all retailer information, orders, and follow-up details are properly updated in the company records/MIS.
- Inform the reporting manager about retailer feedback, stock issues, competitor activity, and market requirements.
- Develop and maintain good qualified relationships with retail counters.
- Follow up regularly with inactive or low-order retailers to understand their requirements and encourage repeat business.
- Ensure timely escalation of any customer complaint or delivery issue to the concerned department.
