Have an Urgent Opening for the post of Senior Manager - SCM Inbound Logistic

Job Location :- Fort

Experience :- 10-18years

*SAP mandatory*

Must be experienced into Freight Forwarding, EXIM, Shipping Background

Core Responsibilities of an Inbound Logistics Role
1. Supplier Coordination & Purchasing Support
- Communicating with suppliers about orders, schedules, and delivery expectations
- Ensuring materials arrive on time and in the correct quantities
- Supporting procurement with supplier performance data

2. Transportation Management (Inbound)
- Planning and booking inbound transport (truck, rail, air, sea)
- Tracking shipments and resolving delays
- Selecting carriers and negotiating freight rates (in some roles)

3. Receiving & Documentation
- Ensuring correct shipping documents (BOL, packing lists, customs docs)
- Managing receiving schedules at warehouses or manufacturing sites




- Coordinating with warehouse teams to unload and process materials

4. Inventory & Material Flow
- Monitoring inventory levels of incoming materials
- Preventing stockouts by planning delivery schedules
- Managing safety stock and lead-time buffers

5. Customs & Compliance (if importing)
- Ensuring materials comply with import regulations
- Working with brokers on customs clearance

6. Problem Resolution
- Handling shipment discrepancies (missing items, damaged goods, wrong quantities)
- Managing supplier-related delivery issues

7. Data & Performance Reporting
- Tracking inbound KPIs like on-time delivery, transportation costs, supplier reliability, etc.
- Maintaining accurate ERP records for incoming materials
