Job Purpose

To prepare and serve high-quality tea and other beverages while maintaining exceptional standards of hygiene, food safety, customer service, grooming, and operational discipline. The Tea Maker is responsible for ensuring every beverage is prepared consistently in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and delivered with professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Beverage Preparation
- Prepare tea and other approved beverages strictly as per company recipes and SOPs.
- Maintain consistency in taste, temperature, quantity, and presentation.
- Ensure beverages are served fresh within the prescribed service time.
- Monitor ingredient quality and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Minimize wastage through proper portion control.

Hygiene & Food Safety
- Comply with all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Wash and sanitize utensils, equipment, and workstations before and after use.
- Always maintain personal hygiene.
- Follow handwashing protocols and use gloves wherever applicable.




- Ensure all ingredients are stored according to prescribed standards.
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) inventory practices.
- Report any food safety or hygiene concerns immediately.

SOP Compliance
- Strictly follow all operational SOPs without deviation.
- Adhere to opening, closing, and cleaning checklists.
- Maintain daily production and cleaning records as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational guidelines.
- Participate in audits and implement corrective actions promptly.

Customer Service Standards
- Greet every customer politely and professionally.
- Serve beverages with courtesy, warmth, and respect.
- Always maintain a positive attitude.
- Handle customer requests promptly and efficiently.
- Resolve basic customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while serving corporate staff and guests.
