About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Admissions Counsellor to support our Counselling team at the VFS Global Academy, Dehradun. This is an entry-level role focused on lead follow-up, meeting scheduling, and record-keeping, with on-the-job training and mentorship to help you grow into a full counselling consultant role over time.

Key Responsibilities:
- Follow up with prospective student leads through calls and emails
- Schedule client meetings for the senior counsellor
- Sit in on meetings, take notes and maintain records of each interaction
- Maintain and update online records of enquiries, follow-ups, and enrollments
- Support the senior counsellor with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks
- Learn the fundamentals of student counselling through shadowing and on-the-job training

What We're Looking For:
- Minimum qualification: Graduate, any discipline
- Location Requirements: Dehradun, in-person
- Language Requirements: Fluency in both Hindi and English (knowledge of more languages is a plus)
- Comfortable making calls and writing professional emails




- Self motivated and takes initiative
- Strong computer literacy (spreadsheets, email, online record-keeping)
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to follow through on tasks
- Positive communication skills and a willingness to learn
- Genuine interest in eventually moving into a senior academic counselling role
