Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain scalable data pipelines using Kafka on GCP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and design solutions that meet those needs.
- Develop high-quality code in Python to integrate with various systems and technologies.
- Troubleshoot issues related to data processing, messaging queues, and system performance.
Job Requirements :
- 6-10 years of experience in software development with a focus on big data processing.
- Solid understanding of Kafka architecture and its applications in distributed computing environments.
- Proficiency in Python programming language with experience working with popular libraries such as Apache Spark or Hadoop.
- Experience working on cloud-based platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including Dataproc, Pub/Sub etc.
