Core responsibilities
- Project leadership: Lead and guide a team of consultants through the implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP PPDS solutions.
- Technical expertise: Provide functional and hands-on configuration expertise for SAP PPDS, including advanced scheduling, heuristics, and optimization tools.
- Solution design: Analyze business requirements and design, develop, and implement SAP PPDS solutions, including all related processes.
- System integration: Oversee the integration of PPDS with other SAP modules (like APO SNP/DP, MM, PP, SD) and non-SAP systems, such as MES, and manage CIF-related interfaces.
- Process improvement: Lead cross-functional teams in process improvement activities to optimize planning and scheduling functions.
- Testing and support: Oversee system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide ongoing support for the PPDS solution.
- Documentation: Ensure that system documentation, including configuration and technical designs, is created and maintained.
- Stakeholder management: Communicate and manage relationships with stakeholders, escalate issues, and provide knowledge transfer to support teams.
