Job Description : Application Engineer

Position Purpose: The Application Engineer is responsible for providing technical solutions to customers, ensuring optimal machine performance and the longevity of the solution.

This role involves close collaboration with customers, internal teams, and participation in innovative projects to deliver efficient, secure, and cost-effective applications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical solutions tailored to customer requirements.
- Collaborate with customers to define machine specifications.
- Utilize internal tools (VFG4, WnGPS, E3) to select the most efficient technical and economical solutions.
- Present and explain complete solution packages, including performance and time calculations, hydraulic and electrical diagrams.
- Test applications in collaboration with the Technical Support Team (SAT) when necessary.
- Participate in designing recent or innovative solutions.
- Ensure codification requests align with customer requirements.
- Contribute to development projects (RP, ECDC)



and lead initiatives such as R2C or OMC when required.
- Work with the sales team to review technical features during contract discussions.
- Maintain confidentiality of technical and commercial information.
- Validate proposed products or systems for safety and compliance using internal tools.
- Share knowledge and expertise within the Poclain Group, including participation in BEA meetings and acting as an application referent.
- Support information gathering during customer field visits.
- Assist the sales team with specific technical actions when needed. Required Skills & Competencies:
