Role & responsibilities

The Static Equipment Engineer is expected to have highly qualified on design and fabrication concepts of both Offshore and Onshore pressure vessels, Heat Exchangers and Tanks.

• Should be valuable on COMPRESS or PV ELITE software to perform mechanical calculation.

• Review and approve sub-supplier calculations and fabrication drawings to ensure compliance with client specifications or applicable standards as required.

• Study and understand the static equipment scope of work and quickly become conversant to SLB procedures and standards.

• Prepares Static equipment Design Basis, Datasheet and Mechanical calculations based on applicable Codes and client specifications including agreed exceptions.

• Review Provide necessary dimensional sketches, preliminary vessel weights and engineering instructions to the designing team,



as required to identify locations of nozzles, supports and other vessel attachments

. • Assist in providing necessary design information to Project/Client/Third Party, as required

• Prove mechanical design of pressure vessel internals, trays, baffles and distribution piping supports when required.

• Knowledge on appropriate materials, coatings, and corrosion protection measures to ensure the reliability and longevity of static equipment and Package.

• Supervise the third-party engineering contractor and vendors. • Participate in 3D model review as required.

• Assigned tasks should be executed with minimum supervision.
