About the Role

KIIT University is looking for an enthusiastic and result-oriented Admission Counsellor to support student admissions and promote the University's academic programmes. The candidate will be responsible for counselling prospective students and parents, handling admission enquiries, and achieving admission targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students and parents regarding KIIT University's courses, eligibility, admission process, fees, scholarships, and career opportunities.

• Handle enquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp, email, walk-ins, and other communication channels.

• Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into applications and admissions.

• Maintain accurate records of leads, applications, follow-ups, and admissions.

• Coordinate with schools, coaching institutes, education consultants, and other student outreach partners.

• Participate in school visits, education fairs, seminars, career counselling sessions, and admission events.

• Explain entrance examinations, application procedures, counselling,



and document requirements.

• Assist students throughout the admission process until enrolment.

• Achieve assigned admission and conversion targets.

• Prepare regular reports on counselling activities, leads, and admissions.

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline; postgraduate qualification will be an advantage.

• 1–5 years of experience in admissions, education counselling, student recruitment, sales, or a related field preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Valuable command of English and Hindi.

• Strong convincing, counselling, negotiation, and follow-up skills.

• Willingness to travel for school visits, counselling programmes, and admission activities.
