Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control day-to-day paint shop operations to achieve production targets.
- Ensure proper surface preparation, powder coating, liquid painting, and transparent coating processes.
- Monitor paint quality parameters including film thickness, adhesion, gloss, color matching, and finish quality.
- Troubleshoot painting defects such as orange peel, blistering, pinholes, runs, and shade variation.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, quality standards, and customer specifications.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams for smooth operations.
- Optimize paint consumption and reduce material wastage.
- Monitor paint booth parameters, curing oven temperatures, and line efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintain paint shop equipment.
- Ensure preventive maintenance of paint shop machinery and utilities.
- Implement 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing,



and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and pollution control standards.
- Maintain daily production, rejection, and paint consumption reports.
- Train and guide operators on painting processes and quality requirements.
- Drive productivity improvement and cost reduction initiatives.

Required Skills:
- Knowledge of Powder Coating, Liquid Painting, Pretreatment, and Curing Processes.
- Understanding of paint quality standards and defect analysis.
- Experience in Alloy Wheel or Automotive Component Painting.
- Familiarity with TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing.
- Knowledge of ERP/SAP and production reporting systems.
- Strong problem-solving and team management skills.
