Role & responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, journal entries and ledger scrutiny.
- Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Bank Reconciliation.
- Handle GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GST reconciliation and ITC verification.
- Manage TDS calculations, payments, returns and related compliance.
- Handle Income Tax and other statutory/taxation matters.
- Assist in monthly closing, account finalization and preparation of financial statements.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks and internal teams.
- Verify vendor/customer invoices and ensure proper accounting and documentation.
- Monitor outstanding receivables/payables and conduct regular reconciliations.
- Prepare MIS, financial reports and other management reports.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards,



tax regulations and company policies.

Preferred candidate profile
- 4-5 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Freight Forwarding / Logistics industry experience is mandatory.
- Strong practical knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax and statutory compliance.
- Good understanding of finalization of accounts and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
- Solid analytical, reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
- Commerce graduate preferred; CA Inter / M.Com would be an advantage.
