Amentum is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to support a unique US Navy program on the island of Diego Garcia. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk performs a variety of warehousing duties which require an understanding of the facility storage plan, shipping procedures, personal computer operation, and the protected operation of warehouse equipment.

Job Responsibilities
- Verify all items being received and/or shipped to or from the warehouse.
- Remove material from storage and prepare for shipment, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages upon inspection of material.




- Verify the accuracy of the daily receiving report/shipping log.
- Store, stack or palletize materials in preparation for storage and/or shipment.
- Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
- File all paperwork per documented procedures.
- May route incoming items within the company as directed.
- Maintain related records.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Familiar with proper packaging methods and ability to interpret visual aids used to convey specific packaging requirements.
- Must be in possession of a valid passport and able to travel internationally.
- Passport should be valid for at least one (1) year at the time of hire.
- Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of deployment.
