- Review existing Finance activities and identify repetitive or manual work that can be simplified or automated.
- Develop reports and solutions using Power BI, Power Query, advanced excel & ERP data.
- Automate regular activities such as data preparation, reconciliations, variance analysis & reporting.
- Support Finance users in using & maintaining automated solutions.
- Proactively look for practical opportunities to make Finance processes simpler & more productive
- A key focus of the role will be to support improvement of the Companys costing process & implementation of batch costing
- Understand the existing costing process & identify areas where it can be simplified
- Work with the Costing Team to understand the accounting & costing requirements for Batch costing




- Support design & implementation of batch costing & develop analytical models & reports to support batch-level cost analysis
- Support reconciliation of batch costing outputs with production, material consumption & accounting records
- Analyse standard vs actual cost & highlight significant cost variances to the relevant team members
- Develop checks & reconciliations to improve the reliability of the batch costing process
- Work with relevant team members to implement improvements & move towards a simpler & more automated costing process
- Prepare reports pertaining to Business Analytics
