About the Role

Bacancy is seeking an experienced Vice President Technology to lead our engineering organization and drive the adoption of modern technologies across global client engagements. This executive role is responsible for defining the technology vision, leading large engineering teams, building scalable platforms, and enabling digital transformation through innovation.

We are looking for a technology leader who has hands-on exposure to the latest technology stack, including AI, Cloud, Microservices, Data Engineering, DevOps, and modern web & mobile architectures.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the company's technology strategy and engineering roadmap.
- Lead Engineering Managers, Architects, and Technical Leads across multiple business units.
- Drive adoption of AI/ML, Generative AI, Cloud Computing, Microservices, Kubernetes, and DevOps.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise solutions for global clients.
- Establish engineering best practices, architecture governance, and code quality standards.
- Collaborate with Sales, Delivery, Product,



and Executive Leadership on strategic initiatives.
- Mentor senior engineering leaders and build high-performing technology teams.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities for innovation and automation.

Required Skills & Technologies
- 15- 20 years of experience in Software Engineering and Technology Leadership.
- Minimum 5+ years in a VP, Director, Head of Technology, or Engineering Leadership role.
- Solid expertise in:
- Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP
- Microservices & Distributed Systems
- Kubernetes & Docker
- DevOps & CI/CD
- AI/LLMs & Generative AI adoption
- Data Engineering & Modern Architecture
- Enterprise Solution Architecture
- Experience managing engineering teams of 100+ professionals.
- Excellent stakeholder management and strategic decision-making abilities.
