Role & responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain production and service equipment to ensure optimum machine performance and continuity of production .
- Inspect machines regularly and ensure all production equipment remains in proper working condition .
- Ensure availability of critical/frequently required spare parts to minimize machine downtime and ensure quick repair turnaround.
- Coordinate with Production/IE/Planning teams for machine allocation, changeovers and additional machinery requirements .
- Plan and monitor machine servicing and preventive maintenance schedules, ensuring timely release of machines to production.
Preferred candidate profile
- Engineering Degree or Engineering Diploma with 2+yrs experience.
- Experience in production machinery/equipment maintenance, including preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Robust understanding of spare parts management, machine downtime reduction and maintenance scheduling .
- Candidates from Garment/Apparel/Textile/Manufacturing industries preferred.
