Position: GST Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced GST Accountant with solid practical knowledge of GST compliance, accounting, Tally Prime, client coordination, and taxation assignments. The candidate must have relevant experience working in a CA firm and should be capable of independently handling multiple client assignments and statutory deadlines.

Key ResponsibilitiesGST Compliance
- Preparation and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C, wherever applicable.
- Reconciliation of GSTR-2B with books of accounts and identification of discrepancies.
- Review of Input Tax Credit (ITC), output tax liability, and GST ledgers.
- Handling GST registration, amendment, cancellation, LUT, refunds, and other GST compliances.
- Assist in GST annual return and reconciliation statement preparation.
- Monitor GST due dates and ensure timely compliance.

Accounting & Tally




- Review and maintain books of accounts in Tally Prime.
- Pass and verify sales, purchase, receipt, payment, and journal entries.
- Ensure correct GST classification and tax treatment in accounting entries.
- Reconcile sales, purchases, ITC, and GST ledgers with books of accounts.
- Assist in bank reconciliation and accounting finalisation.

Client Coordination
- Coordinate with clients for GST and accounting-related data and documents.
- Follow up with clients for missing information, documents, and clarifications.
- Communicate GST observations and requirements to clients professionally.
- Handle routine client queries relating to GST and accounting.

GST Notices & Assessments
- Assist in preparation of replies to GST notices and departmental communications.
- Assist seniors in GST audits, assessments, scrutiny, and departmental proceedings.
