Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Digital Denture Technician with strong Exocad skills and working knowledge of 3Shape dental software to join our digital dental laboratory workflow remotely.

The technician will be responsible for the digital design, nesting, and production preparation of complete dentures, immediate dentures, and removable prostheses using Exocad, 3Shape, and related CAM software.

The technician must be familiar with both 3D printing and 5-axis milling workflows, including preparation of cases for the Formlabs Form 4B dental 3D printer and dental milling machines.

This is not simply a CAD-design position. The successful candidate must understand the complete digital production workflow from case design through nesting, CAM preparation, printing, and milling.

Responsibilities




- Design complete upper and lower dentures using Exocad DentalCAD/Denture Module
- Work with 3Shape dental design and laboratory software
- Import, review, and manage cases originating from 3Shape scanners and software
- Design immediate dentures
- Set up denture teeth digitally with appropriate:
- Occlusion
- Overjet and overbite
- Midline
- Smile line
- Tooth position and angulation
- Arch form
- Esthetics
- Design denture bases with appropriate:
- Borders and extensions
- Base thickness
- Relief
- Tissue adaptation
- Tooth sockets and bonding interfaces
- Design dentures for separate fabrication of the denture base and denture teeth
- Prepare designs for both 3D printing and CNC milling
- Perform nesting of dental restorations and denture components
- Properly orient and position parts for printing and milling
- Prepare dental cases for printing on the Formlabs Form 4B
- Use Formlabs PreForm for print setup, orientat
