Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and executing category strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Analyze sales, revenue, margins, inventory, and category performance.
- Manage product assortment, pricing, promotions, and product lifecycle.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams for product availability.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Support current product launches and category expansion initiatives.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.
- Track promotional performance and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare category-wise MIS reports and dashboards.
- Support negotiations with vendors on pricing, margins, promotions, and commercial terms.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance teams.
- Assist the Category Manager in achieving sales and profitability targets.
