We MEIL are looking for Chief Safety Manager

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra

Education: BE/B Tech with full time Diploma in industrial Safety

Experience: 15+ Years (with minimum 5+ yrs Exp in Tunnelling project)

Note: TBM Tunnelling projects Experience is preferable

Roles & Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the project safety management plan for TBM works.

Ensure compliance with statutory safety rules and project HSE standards.

Identify hazards related to TBM excavation, lifting, and confined spaces.

Conduct risk assessments, JSA, and method statement reviews.

Monitor safety during TBM launch, drive, and breakthrough activities.

Lead toolbox talks, safety training, and emergency response drills.

Ensure proper use of PPE and safety systems inside the tunnel.

Investigate accidents, near misses, and implement corrective actions.

Coordinate with TBM, civil, electrical, and mechanical teams on safety.

Liaise with client, consultants, and authorities on safety matters.
