Responsible for mechanical and electrical maintenance of Rear Axle Shop machinery and equipment, including preventive/predictive maintenance, breakdown troubleshooting, RCA, machine reliability improvement, spare planning and current equipment installation/commissioning.
Role & responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day mechanical & electrical maintenance activities for the Rear Axle Shop.
- Troubleshoot major machine breakdowns and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Execute preventive and predictive maintenance to improve machine availability and reliability.
- Maintain CNC, SPM, GPM and grinding machines.
- Handle maintenance of hydraulic presses, hoists, KUKA/robotic welding and CO welding equipment.
- Troubleshoot PLC, drives/VFDs, LT panels, electrical systems and machine controls.
- ne installation, commissioning and improvement projects.
- Drive TPM, 5S, Kaizen, IATF, ACMA and EOHS activities.
- Support energy-saving, cost-reduction and machine improvement initiatives.
- Maintain maintenance records and work through SAP PM / Maintenance Module.
