Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations, vendor management, banking transactions, and import-export documentation. The ideal candidate should have sound accounting knowledge, reconciliation skills, and the ability to coordinate with banks, vendors, and logistics partners.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate books of accounts in accounting software (Tally)
- Record journal entries, purchase entries, sales entries, and expense booking.
- Ensure proper ledger scrutiny and periodic review.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain statutory compliance records.

2. Import & Export Documentation Handling
- Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, and banks for import/export transactions.




- Maintain and verify shipping documents such as:
- Invoice
- Packing List
- Bill of Lading / Airway Bill
- Bill of Entry
- Shipping Bill
- LC documentation (if applicable)
- Track advance remittances, foreign payments, and export realizations.
- Maintain proper documentation for GST and regulatory compliance.

3. Vendor Payments & Ageing Analysis
- Process vendor invoices after verification and approvals.
- Prepare vendor ageing reports on a periodic basis.
- Ensure timely payments as per agreed credit terms.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain proper documentation of debit/credit notes.

4. Bank Entries & Reconciliation
- Record daily bank transactions accurately.
- Prepare monthly Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
- Follow up with banks for discrepancies, charges, and adjustments.
- Maintain proper tracking of cheques issued and received.
