About the Role

Mahendra Transformers Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities and ensure the timely availability of materials, components, and supplies required for smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Source materials based on purchase requirements and production needs.
- Obtain and compare quotations from multiple vendors.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure accurate documentation.
- Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with production, stores, accounts, and other departments regarding material requirements.




- Monitor pending orders and resolve supply-related issues.
- Maintain vendor records, purchase data, quotations, and related documentation.
- Assist in vendor evaluation and performance monitoring.
- Ensure purchases are made within approved budgets and required quality standards.
- Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare regular purchase reports for management.

Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in manufacturing or industrial organizations.
- Graduate in any discipline; a degree/diploma in Supply Chain, Procurement, Commerce, or a related field is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of vendor management and purchase processes.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic MS Office.
- Ability to compare quotations and analyze prices.
- Good follow-up and coordination skills.
