Job Requirements :A ServiceNow Service Portal Developer designs, builds, and maintains user-facing web portals, custom widgets, and service catalogs. They bridge the gap between platform back-end logic and front-end user experience to deliver intuitive self-service tools.
- Core Responsibilities
- Widget & Page Development: Build, clone, and customize reusable Service Portal widgets using HTML, CSS/SASS, Bootstrap, and AngularJS.
- Full-Stack Scripting:



Write client-side controllers and server-side JavaScript (using GlideRecord and GlideAjax) to fetch and display energetic data.
- Service Catalog Configuration: Design user-friendly catalog items, record producers, order guides, and variable sets for smooth request fulfillment.
- UI/UX Customization: Translate wireframes or design files into responsive, mobile-friendly portal themes, branding pages, headers, and footers.
- Integration & Automation: Connect the portal with external systems or internal workflows via REST/SOAP APIs, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
- Performance & Troubleshooting: Optimize portal load times, debug rendering bugs, and ensure upgrade-safe code structures.
