This role is for a maternity cover of about 6 - 8 months, it may be extended depending on requirements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Clinical Care
- Perform daily nursing duties in the Wellness Centre in accordance with the Resident Doctors instructions.
- Treat minor illnesses and injuries for students and staff and assist the doctor as needed.
- Administer medications safely and maintain proper documentation and handover during shift changes.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records for all students and staff.
- Ensure adequate availability of medicines and medical supplies; promptly report shortages to the Resident Doctor.
- Collect and manage medications for residential students, ensuring proper administration.

Support & Coordination
- Collaborate with the Resident Doctor to establish patient care goals and evaluate progress.
- Accompany students and staff to off-campus medical necessities / consultations, including during off-duty hours as required.
- Build professional, compassionate, and empathetic relationships with students, staff, and colleagues.




- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and in-service programs.

Health Education & Emergency Preparedness
- Conduct first aid training, including CPR/AED for staff and students as needed.
- Obtain and maintain certification as a First Aid Instructor.

Skilled Conduct
- Demonstrate reliability, honesty, consistency, and responsibility.
- Work collaboratively as part of the Wellness Centre team to provide high-quality nursing care.
- Work flexibly, including evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, school trips, and expeditions as required.

Working Hours
- General shift: 6 days per week, including weekends, when necessary, in accordance with school leave policies and with approval from the Resident Doctor.
- Evening shifts: 15 days per month, with alternating days off for the remaining 15 days.
- Nurses may rest on campus after 10:00 PM. and must monitor any students staying overnight in the W
