Job Summary

Tacklers Engineering Pvt. Ltd., an established EOT Crane & Material Handling Equipment manufacturer, is looking for an experienced Sr. Manager Purchase & Procurement to lead procurement operations and vendor development.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end purchase and procurement of raw materials, crane components and bought-out items.
- Develop and manage reliable vendors for steel, motors, gearboxes, electricals, bearings, brakes, ropes, wheels and other engineering components.
- Negotiate price, payment terms, quality and delivery with suppliers.
- Drive cost reduction, alternate vendor development and procurement efficiency.
- Ensure timely material availability as per production/project schedules.
- Monitor vendor performance, quality, delivery and commercial commitments.
- Optimize inventory and procurement lead times.




- Prepare procurement MIS and reports for the MD.
- Lead and develop the Purchase team.

Candidate Profile
- 10+ years of experience in Purchase & Procurement.
- Candidates from EOT Crane / Overhead Crane / Heavy Machinery / Heavy Engineering / Capital Equipment / Industrial Equipment industries preferred.
- Robust vendor development and negotiation skills.
- Good understanding of engineering components, BOMs and technical specifications.
- Experience in project-based / manufacturing procurement will be an advantage.
- Engineering degree/diploma preferred.
