Amentum is seeking a Housing Porter to support a unique US Navy program on the island of Diego Garcia. The Housing Porter will be responsible for providing skilled housing support services, customer assistance, and administrative oversight for housing operations. The position serves as the primary point of contact for tenants, supporting check in and check out processes, occupancy management, housing inspections, maintenance coordination, and customer service operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide professional customer service and daily support to tenants, residents, and customers.
- Assist customers during check in and check out procedures by explaining policies, procedures, and required documentation.
- Issue keys, access materials, and required check in/ check out documentation to tenants.
- Assist tenants with lockouts, access issues, and service-related concerns.
- Maintain accurate records related to occupancy, reservations, supplies, office activities, and housing operations.
- Monitor occupancy status within assigned housing units and ensure records are updated accordingly.
- Perform housing unit inspections to verify quality standards, cleanliness, readiness, and overall condition.
- Receive and document building maintenance service requests.
- Coordinate with maintenance departments to ensure service orders are assigned and completed.
