EOT Crane Operator

Location : SKIPPER LTD. ULUBERIA HOWRAH

Key Responsibilities

Operate EOT crane through pendant/overhead/remote control safely and efficiently.

Carry out lifting, shifting and positioning of materials as instructed by Production/Supervisor.

Check crane condition, pendant control, hooks, wire ropes, brakes, limit switches and safety devices before operation.

Ensure proper load attachment and safe lifting practices before movement.

Follow the rated SWL (Safe Working Load) of the crane and never overload.

Maintain proper communication with signalman/rigger during lifting and movement.

Ensure safe movement of loads and avoid movement over people.

Immediately report abnormal noise, vibration, malfunction, wire-rope damage or any unsafe condition. Perform basic daily inspection and checklist of the crane.

Coordinate with Maintenance for breakdowns and preventive maintenance requirements.





Maintain secure operating practices during day/night shifts.

Required Skills & Competencies

Good knowledge of EOT crane operation and load handling.

Knowledge of pendant/overhead crane controls.

Understanding of lifting tools, tackles, hooks, slings and SWL.

Qualification

Minimum 8th / 10th Pass.

Valid EOT Crane Operator certification/license as applicable.

Relevant safety training will be an advantage.

Experience

2–5 years of experience as an EOT/Overhead Crane Operator in a manufacturing/engineering/steel or similar industrial plant.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
