Job Summary

The Controller of Examination will be responsible for planning, managing, and supervising all

examination-related activities of the university. The role involves ensuring the smooth conduct of

examinations, result processing, confidentiality, compliance with university regulations, and

coordination with academic departments while maintaining high standards of integrity and

transparency. The candidate should possess prior experience working in a multidisciplinary university setting, with a thorough understanding of examination systems, academic regulations, and the diverse requirements of multiple disciplines and academic programs.

Key Responsibilities

Examination Planning & Administration

• Plan and oversee semester, annual, supplementary, and entrance examinations.

• Prepare examination schedules/calendar in coordination with academic departments.

• Ensure timely conduct of theory, practical, online, and offline examinations.

• Supervise examination logistics, seating arrangements, and invigilation processes.

Result Processing & Evaluation





• Monitor answer paper evaluation and moderation processes.

• Ensure accurate and timely declaration of examination results.

• Coordinate with faculty and departments regarding marks submission and result verification.

• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of examination records.

Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure examination processes comply with university regulations, UGC norms, statutory

requirements, and internal policies.

• Implement examination reforms and best practices as per academic standards.

Team Management

• Lead and supervise examination department staff.

• Allocate duties and monitor departmental performance.

• Conduct training and orientation for examination-related procedures.

Documentation & Record Management

• Maintain examination records, confidential documents, transcripts, degree records, and

student academic data.
