Job Duties
- Identify and summarize articles and clinical trial results relevant mainly to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies based in US
- Understand and analyze clinical trial data, including efficacy and safety endpoints
- Comment on clinical data releases and impact on companies
- Conduct comparative analysis of pipeline drugs vs. peers, based on clinical trial results
- Evaluate therapeutic options in a disease area based on efficacy and side effects, and draw conclusions on potential drug approval and market share
- Search and aggregation related to specific therapeutic area, sector and companies
- Provide data and analysis based on various client requests
- Updating company models and doing financial analysis
- Build and update sector databases in MS Excel

Qualification
- B.Sc (Biotech) / B. Pharm / MBBS or M-Pharma
- Background in finance or accounting would be an added plus.

Skills required




- Deep understanding of pharmacology of drugs: both small molecules as well as biologics
- Positive understanding of emerging technologies in healthcare
- Ability to retrieve clinical trial data from sources like medical journals and third-party providers
- Excellent secondary research skills and proficiency in usage of search engines
- Understanding of clinical trial data and ability to estimate market potential of drugs
- Understanding of the drug development and approval process in major global markets
- Ability to write research reports, comment on the market impact of drug-related data releases
- Ability to think and work independently
- Prior equity research or investment banking experience in financials would be an added advantage
- Strong communication skills (oral/written)
